Good to see you in one piece, then. Makes me feel more safe in my SC.
She had to be doing the speed limit or thereabouts. That ain't no "forgot to hit the brakes" oops. Make sure you keep in touch with her insurance company in case you start feeling bad afterwards (pain, exhaustion, etc).
Also, check with an attorney to see what the statutes of limitiations in regards to personal injury are. It looks like that was hard enough to cause some bruising/pain in the least. They owe you for pain and suffering, lost wages (if applicable) and medical bills. Don't let them push you around.
Just in case you have to head down that route.
Luck.

That's what I want to know, what kind of vehicle hit you? Did the police arrest her? Was she drinking, texting or what?
Man, glad to see you ok. I always hate when we pull up on scenes like this that may require cutting someone out of the car with the jaws of life or the use of the rams. I am thankful you walked away from this and no one was riding in the car with you. Did you go to the hospital?
Keep us posted on the progress of the insurance claim and what your future plans are next. Bottom line, glad you walked away and this can be replaced...

As for the car that hit me, it was a maroon Toyota Camry, new model I believe. Her grill, emblem and headlights were in my backseat lol. Thank god it wasn't a truck or SUV. I don't know how fast she was going since I never saw her or knew what happened. It was at a busy intersection so there were plenty of witnesses that saw what happened and told me they saw everything, and would give the police a statement since it was entirely her fault. Sad thing is, she had a little kid in the backseat in a car seat.
The ambulance was down the street when I got hit, so they were there immediately. They took me straight to the hospital since I couldn't walk and it felt like my lung collapsed on me. Took an x-ray on my ribs and my knee, cat scan I believe, on my head. Nothing serious just bruised, swollen, and small cuts.
Luckily I have Geico and she does as well, they're going to pay for everything 100% all medical bills, the rental car, and lost wages from work.

That is awesome news, that she had great insurance. I also have a new 2012 Camry and the same company. Sounds like I made the right choice on both things. Did the Camry a total loss as well? That's also good news that you has several witnesses that saw the whole thing happened. Get to feeling better, stay off your feet, take the medications like candy, and let her insurance foot the bill. :-). Again sorry for your loss man, and keep us updated as the news comes.

HTX, since it was her fault just make sure they don't forget about you. Especially if you have to spend a little time recuperating. SF did that to me.
