Default Battery Relocation Question

I am in the middle of relocating my battery to the trunk, but I noticed a possible small problem that will arise when I pull my motor. With the battery in the stock location, when I pull the motor the positive and negitve terminals will come out with it, which is no big deal, since they are short and already in the engine bay, but since I ran the positive and negitive wires from the engine bay all the way to the trunk, when I pull the motor and put back its going to be a pain in the *** because of the wire being run to the trunk and not having as much slack. So, my question is,do you guys or has any one ran a positve wire from the motor to a cut off point, that would be easily attached and or dettached, that would connect the longest wire that goes all the way to the trunk and same for the negative? Does anyone have some pics of how they ran their wires and etc? if you used a "cutt off" where did you purchase it from?

you would only run a power line to the trunk. use the chassis as a local ground. it doesn't make sense to run another cable for the ground. use a distribution/fuse block or a circuit breaker in the engine bay to connect all the electronics to the power cable going to the battery in the trunk.

Google, battery remote jumper posts. You can put them anywhere and it's a clean way to have a junction.

I ran the negative terminal to the front because I read another member on here had said that was the best way because of all the grounding points that are located in the engine bay and that grounding the negative in the trunck wasnt as reliable. Can you shed more light on that? As far as a distribution box is concerned, what size do I need for the factory power wire and the positive wire that leads to the fuse box?
