chaser 1jz motor mount bracket
i have a 1jzgte from a chaser and I'm trying to put it in my sc and it seems like its setting to far back and the oil pan is touching the cross member, are the mounting brackets different should i take the old ones of the 2jzge and put them on the 1jzgte

well i ended up finding some from a toyota supra, and apparently they are dfiferent from an sc300. are supras front sump? these brackets dont seem to fit the motor properly either.. the turbo side engine bracket only threads on with 3 of the 4 bolts, one hole is off by half. the mounts are the taller mounts from a 97-98 supra supposedly.
below is the chaser passenger side mount along with the supra one. the supra mount fit onto the front holes (rusty ones) with all 4 bolts just fine, but that put the mount wayyy forward compared to the driver side mount. any input? anyone have sc300 brackets they can send me pictures of so i can see if they are different from the supra ones?

Although the chassis is strikingly similar, supra to sc is different. $75 shipped I have the engine brackets from my vvti 1j soarer swap sitting on the shortblock still at my shop.

oemtoyotascionparts lists the 97-98 supra motor mount brackets the same part number as the 95 sc300, so now i'm wondering if i really do need to get the soarer 1jz vvti ones, because the supra bracket did not bolt up on the passenger side.. gah!
who here has done a 1jz vvti chaser swap into an sc300/400?

welll i think i found my problem, elevated just sent me a pic of where the mount is on his vvti block and i was putting mine in the wrong place.
here is the pass side 97-98 supra mount by the way, if someone could check their sc300 mount dimensions for me and confirm that they are the same that would be great.
5.75" tall both ways
i'm off to try this!
cheers

well thats wierd. i got the mount on and everything looks pretty good, except that the mounts look like they are a couple of inches too wide to go into the holes.. ideas?
the engine cradle is the same part number of sc300/400.. the brackets are the same pn for late model supra / sc300.. this doesn't add up!
i also found a pic of a non vvti 1jz, the mount on the turbo side looks quite different from the supra/sc300 anyone have input on that?
