Default Big restoration project underway + more, check it

Just wanted to post a pic, right now I'm doing a complete restoration of my 92 SC400 with 155k on the clock.

Final price for the entire engine, suspension, brakes, and a completely new paint job is in the area of 7-8,000 dollars.

...and when it's out, I can put this on the rear!

Please tell me you're spending all that money on a restomod and not a back-to-stock restoration.

Well, actually its pretty much "back to stock" mint condition restoration, a few mods are being incorporated:

PPE headers
dragon converter
gated shifter from a 99 SC300, + wood grain ashtray to match
Changing the steering wheel and shroud to black and putting an emblem on the wheel.
sylvania silverstar-ultra headlights

Aside from that, the suspension was changed from old tokico blues back to the KYB strits (ride quality is much improved) all brakes were done, and I had the timing belt replaced along with all plugs, caps, rotors, gaskets etc... everything.

Yes, I realize the money was alot, and its sad, I found a 92 in the same color combo with 50k miles for 6,000 bucks out in california when i was in the middle of this. It sucks, but hey... I think i';ll drive this forever.
