Aero ?
I've recently been interested in the 2JZGTE swap into the SC300. Well I was wondering, the SC300 weighs about the same as the Supra TT, a Supra TT BPU will run about mid 12's will a SC300 run the same BPU with a 2JZGTE in it ? I have heard that the rear is light on the SC300 and that it doesn't gain traction on launches or is this BS ?
Also about Supras, they have a monstrous top end, and I believe they have a Drag c. of 31 or something and was wondering what it was or the SC ? Will it still have a nice top end ? Thank you for answering these questions, I will be frequenting these boards more often.

Lexus cars have very good sound insulation...anyone familiar with stereo systems knows that that kinda of stuff only adds weight...hence the difference...
I don't know about the rear end being that light... track (race track, not quarter mile) my SC400 and the rear stays planted...and that's with stock tires and suspension...I can break my GS430's rear end out much easier (when it was stock)...

yea my savings is pretty big, I was actually looking for a MKIV but a SC was more unique to me and plus the fact that it is very luxurious and quick is just anothe reason to buy it.

I'm not sure where the sound insulation is actually...for me, I'd rather keep the sound insulation and weight...are you looking to make a super fast quarter mile car? Or just a fast car in general? Cuz honestly, with 700+ RWHP, a couple hundred pounds in luxury features won't really matter IMO...
Otherwise, you might as build a 9 second Civic.
