Fan Clutch
well my 93 sc300 drives fine until the water temp mark gets about half way then the check engine light comes on and the car starts to act very strange.....i checked the thermostat and its good.....so i started the car and stuck a stick on the fan and the fan stopped....does this mean that the fan clutch is bad???? and also when adding antifreeze to the radiator is there suppose to be water flow like when your rpms raise?

You shouldnt be able to stop the fan like that or even by hand. another way to check if its the clutch is to rev the engine and see if the fan also increases in rotation along with the motor. If it doesnt than its your clutch.

with the engine stopped spin the fan by hand, the harder you spin it the more resistance the clutch applies. If it spins around several times with a hard spin then the clutch is loose.
you wont see any water flowing through the radiator cap opening. are you losing coolant? you can tell if your cooling system is sealed by heating the engine up and then squeeze the upper radiator hose (CAUTION-it will be hot) if it has pressure and is tight then its sealed up, if not then you have a leak somewhere.
