Hi ALl,
any one ever try RX300 rims on there SC?
Someone posted that rims sizes in the tiire section, and the bolt pattern is the same for both the SC's and the RX.
Just wanna double check.

Oh my God... will any of you guys coin-up for proper wheels? At this rate, why bother to change wheels at all?

Aren't RX300 rims and GS400 rims almost the same??? I think its a valid question. I have always wondered if RX300 rims work on SC, not that I would put those on my car . I just took a look at RX300 rim size... stock rubber is 225/70-16 so ya it will probably work w/ your stock 16" rubber... 225/55-16. Almost sure its the same bolt pattern. But... now that I see they are 16s not 17s... I would say, just go find used GS400 rims w/ rubber... should be pretty cost effective. I wouldn't bother w/ the RX300 rims unless they were given to me.

To tell you the truth, while browsing e*ay the other day, I found some OEM wheels, I looked at the pics and they looked nice, cool five spoke design and stuff.. didnt realize it at the moment but then found out they were from a 2002 rx300.. I would say it would be a nice upgrade for a 92-94 or so cars with those ugly 10 spoke wheels, not to mention that you can get a nice set for very cheap... the only problem with them is the same we have with the IS wheels: they will fit but they are too skinny for an SC.
