Driftech's 2013 Pro-Am Rebuild

Sounds like your maxed. I'd like to see a pic full lock. My next move was to extend my lower control arms. so maybe try that before you spend 2K. I was thinking the same thing, but I just can't fork out 2K, I'm going to try extending the lowers for 100-200$. cut weld.

Update. I'm back to work on this, I took a vacation and a couple weeks off.
Yesterday I removed the entire body harness. Today I'm going to get into the doors and pull out the windows motors and support. I am looking for a 2jzge right now. finally made my decision. I am going the 1.5j route. make use of one of my few sponsors and put some cp pistons in a ge block.

Just bought a 2jzge block for the 1.5 build. did some research last night and decided that it is not worth it to find a 2jzgte block. the difference between the 2 blocks being gte has oil squirters and oil feed lines tapped. Since I am going to run forged pistons that can handle the heat and I believe from what i read that the piston needs to be designed to make use of the oil squirters which only stock pistons are so not a benefit. also I have read a difference between the blocks are the oil pump, which I am going to buy a new pump so no big deal there.
next move is to disasemble the 2jzge block and my old 1jzgte, going to do that next saturday at Sideways Performance. My friend Spencer is going to supervise my disassembly, since this will be my first full engine tear down.
than after that I need to send the block in to a machine shop. so not sure if I will just take it to spencer's machine shop or find my own. problem I have is I don't know who to trust on this one.

I am glad you took the advice!
I can't wait to see what it does!
If i were you, I would bump the compression alittle bit to maybe 9.0 or 9.5.1 but either way gl with the project !

I was considering that, CP makes a 9.0 to 1. the only problem is I believe that the 1j head on the 2j block raises compression. also I don't want to run race gas, that is just going to make my track days more expensive and if I bump the compression up won't I need to run a higher octane race gas? all I have out here in california is 91 octane.

Since you are running a built GE block without oil squirters , you need to get a 96-2000 SC300 Oil pump to have the correct Oil pressure.
Nice parts list you go there, and i bet it wasn't cheap!
