RHD to LHD swap?
Just curious if anyone knows how complex it is.. I have a LHD sc400 and I'm purchasing a RHD soarer.. I'd like to keep lhd so I can still pass people... turn left at lights.. and go through drive thru
I'd have the sc400 at my mercy as it was probably go to parts bins in my garage and scrap after, it has high kms. I remember someone with a sc300 had a nose cut soarer and swapped it to rhd with the motor and trans

would be easier to 1jz swap the SC so you dident have to do the dash conversion. iv never seen it done and for the amount of work it is i dont think it would really be worth it. Plus i feel like the RHD has a cool factor to it. I have a soarer as well and tons of people think the right hand drive is really cool. but would be interested in how its done if anyone knows how.

Ya I think it's neat as well but the soarer has a much better undercarriage and body also has less k on the bushings and susp components. My sc is really taking a dive at 280k. RHD is getting extremely hard to insurance for the reason the are more dangerous to drive according to ministry of transportation. The car won't be driven all winter so I will have the time IF indeed it is a reasonable possibility. Common sense tells me full dash and center console would need swapped as well as door panels, would have to re toure the door control wiring from drivers to pass, it's more the steering column and pedals I am worried about.
