I've been looking for a christmas present for myself and since this is about $100 I figure it might be interesting.

The theory sounds logical, but I don't think you would gain horsepower.

Well, This issue of Import Tuner did tests on 3 different cars and they got gains in all 3. Gains from 1 to 15 hp at peak rpm. However, I don't trust Import Tuner.

That is B.S, " better ground to more torque and horse power"?? What the %$^$ do they think we are? IMO, the only one would buy those s%&t is the one knowing nothing about car. I am sorry, i am an electrical engineering, and this really ticked me off...

When I get home, I'll scan the dynos in that issue of Import Tuner.
However, there are gains at almost all rpms on the cars. How can you explain that?

What I believe is that this grounding takes a load off the electrical system or at least improves it. Therefore, it takes a load off the engine.

would this be the same as getting like 3 ground wires and wiring them up together? If so, why not just go this path?

I think its because their wires are cleaner, almost pure copper or so they say.

In my mechanical engineering lab we made a battery powered boat using kevlar. We tested all kinds of materials and batteries to see which was more efficent, and in the end we would up picking high end audio cables. The absolute best at moving and conserving power. Same thing for batteries. Basically, what sun automotive is selling is audio wires. I am serious, audio stuff is top of the line. Streetwires, Sosche, fosgate, etc. We used streetwires.
