rideskinz needs to buy a beater SC shell or something so they can continuously prototype parts they make.
i would be interested in the lenses only if they were around $350-ish with a group buy. $350-400 seems very reasonable for such a one off part.
i also think glass would look great but cost i could see is a very big problem with that and even production of such a glass mold with tabs.

I would definitely love to see these made out of glass as well. It might be possible to have two different options, but really if either version actually gets made I'll be happy!
It's looking like the final pricing will be cheaper than how much SuperMades used to cost new, and they should be a better quality as well. These are FULL replacement lenses just like the SuperMades were, there is no cutting involved. All you do is take the factory lens off, and put the new one on.
I'd say RideSkinz does an excellent job with turn around-- As well, atleast they get parts made to begin with! I think the biggest hang up on that rear lip was finding 2 SC's for test fitament, and of course just like any professional shop they have alot of other business going on. Respect noted I'm sure!
If you get Ebay lights you'll have to cut the whole outer edges down, and probably compromise the seal as I've read happens. It's looking like these will come in at a very decent price if we can get enough interest. Possibly even glass if everything goes really well.
I'm actually finding that info out right now- Either him or I will post up with the Lexan/Glass feasibility info asap.
