Want RideSkinz to produce Clear SC Headlight Lenses? [Post up!]
#377
i think taking a fancy high tech approach is the reason its not working out , seems to me that u can make a simple compression mould and start pumping them out.
Im not into the new idea , so im out.

I'm out. I don't want to have to redo my retrofit.

3.) Highbeams for a (clear lens) headlight project
4.) Soon to be RideSkinz Lowbeam clear headlight set

Base Your New Lights Around This And regular Stock Head Lights and Make Them Identical To This I'd bet you'd make a killing of these and if they look like these could me in but not for 1 million dollars
Be different.
Be different.

These are stock head light housings painted black with a retrofit projector. completely stock.

Actually it's alot less complicated to make this idea vs. making clear lenses. (From a manufacturing and cost standpoint.)
New/different ideas from the "norm" often times seem complicated until the connections have been made for a while- and in this case the benifits of doing it this way (making a new inner housing) far outweigh the negatives, for the owners.
Doing it this way ensures that you will not run out of cheap clear lenses in case something happens to a buyers set of lights, as well as giving an updated set of factory looking lights.

i know but it would be easier to use the stock look change it a little with cheap better projector's with a 95% stock look offer them in oem looking chrome and a block housing i bet it would sell and Toyota/Lexus cant sue do to different projector patent if im gonna pay 400$ for lights let it be mas product appealing and not just clear lenses be different why keep doing the same old stuff when there have been 2 other previous Lens molds made.

Wait, what do you mean by Ebay headlights? The ones with halos/leds and stuff? If they will be similar to stock with the clear lenses I would like to be on the list depending on the price. And will the housing have that stock chrome look or will they be black? I'm asking if we bought the whole complete unit. I'm confused

My lord people, is this seriously hard to understand? My iq is dropping the more people post on this
They are making a factory headlight housing able to take the clear headlight lenses from the eBay lights. Then offering them as a bulk deal or preassembled for you.
And before anyone ask, no you can not just put the eBay lenses on the OEM housings. They do not fit with out some modifications to both lense and housing. High chance of breaking them both and you will still get water in them no matter how well you seal them.
Iv been stuck in the Philly airport for 6 hours now. Feel my anger permeate from your screen
