Yes, we are all familiar with those.... and that's why there is so much interest in these!

Hahaha...buy those then if you think they are worth it. Some of us bought em just for the lens to put on oem housing. But modifying them sucks...

I will be getting a set of these. I hate the ebay ones and wont take the risk of buying a set such to mod them with my OEM's. Put me down

Hey, why is that "mad talk"? I am curious, have you bought and owned a set of those headlights you linked us to? Even one set? Have you even had a set of them in your hands? I am curious...Please tell us if you have...Those lights are total crap. They are made of exceptionally cheap materials, and the lens covers are crap as well. They easily stress crack, and heat crack. I have bought 2 different sets, and they are pure junk. I speak with great experience here.

And since you won't pay more than $70 for a set of clear lenses, you will never own a set of clear lenses, since they can't be had for that. No offense, but please do not dirty up this thread with your complaints as to why a high quality set of lenses are not worth anything. You are talking about low production runs, and high quality...Any business savvy person knows it is absolutely impossible to create a new product from scratch, make it of high quality materials and deliver it at a low cost, especially with low production runs. And incidentally, anything less than several thousand sets is a low production run...

I am not attacking you personally, but please do not attack RideSkinz or the potential cost of $300 or more for a set of high quality clear lenses just because you do not see the value. NO problem that you do not see the value, but this thread is about PRODUCING A HIGH QUALITY SET OF CLEAR LENSES FOR THOSE SC OWNERS THAT APPRECIATE THEM FOR THAT AND WANT THEM. IF YOU DO NOT, NO WORRIES, BUT PLEASE KEEP THE NEGATIVE BASHING OUT OF THIS INTEREST THREAD.

Thanks,

Ryan

That would be very nice! I was going to remove mind and send the interior to get them clear but that would definitely be easier!!!!

Count me in!

I'm in but like others, I am concerned about turn around time, cost for the lenses and durability over time. Would hate to spend $300 for a set of lenses and they yellow in a year..

Think this is a great idea though!

Also, like others have said, will it be replace style.. or have to silicone them together...???

They for sure will yellow unless there is some sort of uv inhibitor applied.
You could just wax them often with a good wax that helps resist uv rays.

History on clear lens gathering interest threads:

425 people: YES ME NOW! I WANT!

3 people: Here's the money.

We KNOW there is interest in these, THAT isn't the actual problem. I hope you get real people with real money involved who do want them and it gets you somewhere on this set, this time.

If you want them bad enough fund it and resell. That's how the big boys do it.

I have real money...and monopoly money. I make it rain with my monopoly money.

In with interest. I would like to hear the cost. And since we are going on with the wish list I would like the fogs as well.

Great Job guys..
