Axmily- That would be dope! I haven't seen a GS with that tranny swap yet. My last two car were both DC2s. I miss my first one (sentimental).
I've noticed there is a lot of former/current honda owners on here!
I got the engine today! I had ordered it from jdmenginescorp.com. I am happy with it, beside a couple of broken things, but from my experience, there always is at least ONE thing broken. The ignitor was busted so I called them right away, and they said a new one will be sent thursday.

I've notice this was busted as well : / I was going to call them out on this as well, but they could easily say that happened during shipping.

bought mid rear sump setup from Bflatsharp. Its a GE pan but he drilled the holes for me. thanks man!

Did a little work on it today, mostly making room around the garage. Will get to it again tomorrow.

Thanks guys! I'll try to take a bunch of pics.

lilSCSteve- I seen a video of a test performed before I bought the engine, and it was 180 across the board.

Sooo I had a ton of fun removing the intake manifold today to get the engine harness off the 1J. I thought I removed ALL the bolts from the IM and couldn't for the life get it off. I finally said **** it, and removed the fuel rail and injectors. Then I finally see the last bolt behind the harness that goes threw the middle of the manifold, and wahlah!! After kicking my own *** for an hour, I finally have both my engine harnesses ready to ship out. I also took off the power steering pump and AC because I plan on using the ones already in the car. Also took the tranny off, and ghetto rigged a bracket for my ignitor.

Always a good investment for the loose hardware

felt like a jackass when I finally seen it. I'm blind too btw lol

Also received my fuel pump from QuickSC4, Thank you!

I've been bouncing back and fourth between working on my cousins FD, and my car. Hopefully I get more on it!

I have a quick question, I know I seen some info, but can't find it. Looking at the tranny that came with the car. It has multiple leaks. I figured it might be better to just use the chaser tranny. I heard it fit nice, but do I need to modify the front shaft,or what? The swap did come with a driveshaft. thank you

BangarangX- Thanks man, your build story is cool man lol. I know you said you didn't want to go RHD, but having the ffont clip would make me want to go for it!

SCSIN- I want to go manual when I have the means for the 350z tranny. I only need this to hold me over 4-6 months. I don't know how long the stock sc300 tranny has, but doesn't look good. I also have the chaser tranny sitting in my garage, so was wondering what is all necessary to make it fit.
