Default SC beater in all its glory!

Hola! I happened to get a SC300, because of my awesome luck with hondas. I won't get into it.. I will tell you my last incident. Some idiot totally blew the stop sign and t boned my car, on my birthday! So I lost that project. Anyways I was done with honda, and FF cars. I wanted something with more potential, and more leg room. All my fam/ friends have a lexus. I want performance too, on a budget, here it is. In its rough state.

My little brother told me to get a SC. I'll keep it 100. I didn't want one. I wanted to find a FD3s rx7 since I am already working on one for my cousin and there was plenty of parts laying around. No luck.. I looked on craigs list and guess what.. SC300 w/o engine $500. bought the car right away. The interior is kinda ruff, but all there. I cleaned it all all before these pics. It had grease and dirt all over but heres the bay.

I ordered my 1jz W/ VVTI w front sump from jdmenginescorp.com today. I have to find a rear sump now too. I KNOW the gte would have been easier, but I got this for a good price. Plan on ordering a harness from DR. Tweak on monday. I'm going to use the stock auto tranny for a couple months while I gather parts for 06+ 350z tranny swap.
As for the other major modifications, not sure whats in plan for this car. Just want power and reliability!

Looking good! The brightside is you don't have to pull a motor out for your 1JZ. I like the Sandstone Beige SCs because they really highlight that nice deep accent line down the side of the car. You don't really get to see it on the darker cars.

Welcome to the family, and nice pick up...how's your interior? Check out the classifieds for some really good, and some times cheap parts! GL with your build, keep us posted. We love seeing SCs brought back to Life!

Thanks guys, just got of the phone with Tweaked and ordered a harness! Have to wait of my swap to arrive to send the harnesses tho.

CHNK & Mak89- I'll let you guys know how I do it! I've found a little bit of info already around online. I've seen SC4doulbe0 did his 400.

lilSCsteve- thanks for the warm welcome. The driver seat has a big tear on the lower part. the passenger has little cracks and the rear seats you can see the sewing stretch. needs ALL new seats. I'll post pics soon.

Levie- I was going to buy a R154 and call it a day, but stumbled on SC4doubles thread and sparked interest.

joeazy187- If you have the 1j already use your money to make that more fun, rather than spend more coin on another 1j or 2j.
