You sure build these engines up fast.

There are larger housings than the .91. However I wouldn't run the larger ones personally. Good choice with the .91, same housing I'm running I'm actually looking at maybe even moving down to the .83.

Sure. Here's the S300sx 91-80 (aka S366). You can see options ranging from .88 up to 1.10. Boost Lab also advertises a .83AR that I've sent them a message asking for details on.

http://www.full-race.com/store/turbo...-79-turbo.html

The AR numbers are deceiving though. AR is just a ratio, so while .91 may sound small on paper, these housings are huge (which I'm sure you already know). Tests have shown the .91 to make just as much power as the 1.00 + housings, but with improved spool, which is why I'd never run anything larger than the .91 myself. And is also why I'm considering trying the .88 or .83, with hopes of similar results of improved spool with no/little affect on peak numbers.

Example pic of a BW .88 housing compared to a Garrett .68 housing. The BW is a higher number so you'd expect it to be larger, but it's easy to see that it is way bigger than the numbers would suggest. People forget AR is just a ratio, this is proof of that...

Ok i knew it wasn't from BW but from a distributor!

But remember the 88 is non divided andthe 91 is , so you don't think it they will be about the same ?

thanks for sharing .

I suppose technically its from a distributor, but everything I ever get is from some sort of distributor, never directly from the oem. The housings are actual oem BW housings though as far as I know, not afternarket pieces.

I don't know the exact conversion factor, but I would suspect a .88 open housing would actually flow more than a .91 divided since it doesn't have the big divider taking up space. Can't back that up with any sort of technical calf or anything, just an educated assumption.

Anytime and anything for you you already know.

Remember you will only gain about 7% going from 8.5.1 to 12.5.1 for example and with e85 past 10.1 I doesn't really matter anymore .Just so you know and spend you money wisely!
