I'm only thinking about the 99' one now, It's much more practical for what I want to use it for- a DD.

55's the price, it's salvaged and the front right of the car had to be replaced, hopefully it drives straight and doesn't rock a bit. going to head up 4 hours to check it out, wish me luck!~

Remember, if you make an offer, go as low as possible. Set a price you think you are willing to pay for the car. If the seller doesn't want to sell it for that, walk away.
GL, hope the dude was honest...a 4 hour trip?

Didn't realize OLT merged the threads.

My bad.

Idk if the OP read my post before I deleted it so here it is just in case lol.

In the second picture, you can see on the bottom left it looks like the frame got damaged a bit and they pulled it back trying to straighten it. I'm by no means an expert on the body structure of SC's, but just by what I can see I'd recommend taking it to somebody to actually see what underlying structural damage was done. (I.e. frame damage but you can't see it because the bumper is blocking it)

If you can it would be really good to get a pic of what the car looked like before it was repaired. Just so you can get an idea the degree of damage that has been repaired and the severity of the accident.

Currently driving gone with it! Car overall clean.

Found out the owner only used unleaded, how bad is that for the engine?

Using only unleaded on a stock car isn't too big of a deal tbh considering it's not turbo'd. I know people are gonna flame me for this but I've put thousands of miles on my SC w/ normal unleaded and it runs perfectly fine. The previous owner to my knowledge also used regular unleaded and he commuted w/ it so he put quite a few miles on...

It sits in the garage most of the time now since I DD an eclipse gt but I put regular unleaded in that too (says to only put premium) and that runs just fine too (120 miles of commuting everyday M-F).

You generally only need to get bent on people putting in regular unleaded if you have a: 1.) force inducted car, 2.) higher-hp N/A car, 3.) some super finnicky car like an exotic

Well I got the car for $54. I don't know if it's a good deal or not, it's kind of a lot of cash )):.

Salvaged title.

Somethings that bothered me were the bulge in the air bag.The corners were sticking out a bit, seemed like it was deployed...

Some of the interior is off.

It's the tan interior. So the interior BELOW the dark tannish one (The really light tan) is it supposed to match my door? Because it DOESN'T. The door matches everything else inside the car except that light tan part. Imo it looks funky, but did they make it that way?

From a salvage, that is what you should expect. As long as it drives OK, to be your DD.

It drives perfectly! The exterior is pretty damned beautiful. The interior looks like a kid used this as a civic >:

So the dash IS supposed to match the door? (At least the light tan part)

If it is I'm about to do an interior restoration...

Edit: whoa whoa nvm, the tan BELOW the dash IS different from the door. WHY?! It's actually kinda gross looking ...

In my SC, the dash is dark brown, carpeting and most of the interior is light tan or tan.

Haha what I mean is the part below the dash doesn't match any other tan, I saw another sc ad their interior is the same way, I just find it weird because it looks funky when you close the door and see they don't match.

Say where you trunk button is, THAT tan, comparing to the door tan is lighter. Can anyone just confirm this with me?

What kind of SC owner uses unleaded only?! Should only use what Lexus says too, which is Premium!
And for 5,400 that SC better be in excellent running condition, records, clean title, and immaculate inside and out!

It doesnt have a clean title, its got a rebuilt title or salvaged title.

I traded a beatup automatic S13 240 hatch with 3 different colors and crappy interior for my SC lol

The interior is meh ):. Needs new seat covers and that's basically it. New keyring. New plastic piece around belt lock in the rear.(Where the belt plugs in, the plastic around it) Every piece is there and I cleaned it with a magic eraser and it's clean . I know I may have overspent a tiny bit, wanted to get it for 5 -_-.

Also the interior carpet in the passenger side lifted beyond the plastic railing, I'm assuming I have to take all the chairs and everything off to put the carpet back correctly?

Runs pretty good IMO. Never drove a different one. No records.... Sadly, reconstructed but it drives pretty good... Averages 30 MPG on the highway. 20-25 city.

No scratches or dents on the exterior. Imma take a picture of it and post it!

Gosh so many questions but the exterior is pretty good.

WISH I COULD FIND A 99 for 5.4 clean and immaculate :|

$3,000-3,500 is the average price for a decent 1992-1994 SC, that's if its really clean and has a clean title. You must of wanted this SC real bad if you paid that much
