Realistically, I would just have a new engine put in my SC400, or have it rebuilt on top of a Tundra 4.7. ![Stick Out Tongue](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
If I had to choose a different car though, it would have to be a BMW 850 CSI. Any year would be fine, as long as it's blue or red. My god though, these cars are expensive! Even today they command Supra TT money. Without a doubt it's going to be a classic someday.

Incredible cars...the reason the CSi is still so expensive is due to excellent performance, but also rarity...
Less than 250 imported to the US... Harder to find than 98+ SC400s

I've really been wanting to upgrade to a 2000 sc400 lately, but they're really hard to find. The top of my list of different cars would be a 05-09 Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT Limited, an E55 AMG (seems to be popular here), an IS-F, or a 3rd gen GS. Guess I'd be going back to the 4-doors lol. The reality of the situation though, is that I'm completely happy with my SC as of right now.

Sorry I couldn't help to reply to your post but why not a 335i? I own one and it's amazing, handling and almost zero turbo lag, it's my weekend car and at 57k miles I've had zero issues whatsoever, of course I wouldn't recommend it as a daily driver since it's known to have poor reliability but it puts a smile in my face every time I floor it!
Another good option would be a well taken cared of E46, they're a beauty and handle very good or an IS250/350 if you wanna stay with Lexus.
