i just saw a pic of AZLEX's car..on suspension forum about him getting his TEINS...and his car didnt have a front spoiler

mine is a 92sc300, and it does...

i was just wondering is that a stock item, or aftermarket?

I believe the rubber lip comes stock from 92-94.

My brother installed the rubber lip on a 97 front bumper and it looks pretty good.

That is really odd because I was under the impression that the lip was only stock on pre 94 sc400s. 300s didnt get it... or at least my 93 doesnt have one.

 

my pearl white sc 300 has a big fat one...

oh well i like it

You mean the plastic 3 inch lip spoiler?? All 92-94 SC400s have that. I was never aware of any SC300s any year getting that, so it must have been installed aftermarket. 95 and 96 SC's dont have it, SC300 or 400.

 

I have a white 94 SC4 and it has the lip. I'm looking to get the non-lip bumper from a 95-96. Anyone have one for sale or interested in trading if you're in So. Cal? Let me know.

Hmm; seems like a soft rubber, and using 3M body tape, Im not sure I'd trust it's effectiveness with weight bearing down at high speeds. At normal speeds it'll prolly direct more air into the ducts (if you have a cold-air intake), but in all honesty it looks more like a cosmetic mod really; especially for the price ($15.00 ... ?)

On the other hand, has anyone ever tried to mount the active front-spoiler from a Supra, to an SC?
I think a mechanical lip would be badass ...
