I was looking at GM's old EV1, the all electric car, that predated the Chevy Volt by 10 years.
The fate of most EV1's resulted in being crushed and then sold to Toyota.
What I noticed is the shifter in the EV1 looks nearly identical to the SC's automatic shifter.

I wonder who made the shifter GM or Toyota or a third party and how it ended up in both cars.
Pretty crazy isn't it?
