Hi, my name is Mike.
I am a first time Lexus owner. My SC300 was given to me by an exotic dancer who messes around with me front time to time. She toasted the engine in it and didn't want anything to do with it anymore.
I have loved MKIV Supras since I was very young, so even though its been American muscle in my garage until now, I can totally appreciate this car.
Today I bought a complete 1JZ/R154 front clip equipped with a few goodies to get turbo power under the hood of this thing.
Plan is to keep it stock-like on the outside, and beef up everything underneath. This seemed like a good place to start.
So what is it with these SC interiors anyway? Don't seem to hold up too well.

Thanks.
I got one locally, actually. Right now, I am weighing whether or not I want to tackle the swap myself. I'm really busy right now, and would like to drive the damn thing, of course; but there is that old saying about a captain knowing every nut and bolt of his ship.

Mike, you sir are da man! lol...congrats on your free car-make sure you get the title for it ASAP! Any interior pics? As far as the interior, expect the usual: cracked window trims, cracked dash vents, bleeding LCD on climate control, burned out speedo needles to start. All normal with these cars. If your don't have any of these problems-you're lucky! Either way, congrats...enjoy your swap-a lot of info available here.

I can't argue there. I suppose it doesn't really hit me how old this car really is. This is not what I would expect of a car from 1991 (MY1992). This thing was waaaaaaaaaaaay ahead of its time.
I'll get some shots of the car and interior tomorrow morning. The exterior needs Jesus as well, but I'd rather have 3 pedals and go fast first, than to start with a slow show car. It will definitely get the attention it needs, very soon, but only after Juan J. Zi blesses my car.
Yes, I already transferred the title, and I will ask her if its OK to post a picture of her. I didn't get the car like today. I did just get the front clip, however.

^^^^^HAHA
I had to post under you man... My ex was a stipper. lmao.
But definitely a good pick up, especially for free. Definitely beats the guy that recently got his for $300. I'm definitely interested in seeing pictures.

Lets keep the comments about the stripper to a minimum please. Stay on track with this possibly build thread with a 1JZ swap. No pictures of that unless approved through one of the moderators. Sorry.

That's why men die before women, because we want to.
Oh and Mike... good find on the SC.
