These are my first crude digital picts of my new angel eyes/led rings.
It was 3/4 dark so the full effect wasn't there. I will take more this weekend for better effect.
My digital cam ran out of batteries so that's why I couldn't get anymore closeups
In PICTURE 1
The parking wedge bulb next to the low beam is a new LED bulb..the sidmarkers are led and signal in led amber.
Believe it or not..that lower lamp is actually a blue bulb! Look how yellow it is next to the LED top.
Note the sidemarker is also flashing amber w/the signal. that is a dual Amber LED strip in there wired w/the signal.
I'll get you a better close up. It is awesome.
I've got LED cluster's on the way that will replace that bottom so everything will be clean white. Also got LED amber bulbs for the signals to replace the amber bulb I have in there now.
By next week..my front and back of the car should be full LED/HID
Will take more pictures and post em soon.

keep up the excellent work!!!-looking real sharp partner!
what do you think of the rings of the high beam? is the light intense enough,or is it merely enough to accent the high beam unit?

oops forgot to mention, i have those rings from a 5 series bmw w/ the fiber optics and everything but, being that they have this kind of work already available i'm not going to bother to do it myself-also had intensions of converting the parking light next to the low beams into a projector lens (same one from 5 series)w/rings to give it a different -but noticable look w/hid installed in the second unit...............still thinking about it though! picture all 4 projector lenses (of course 2 of the outer projecter lenses aimed downward) w/hid's cutting through the night! .........i think it would be a very classy and unique look if done properly!

Hey Anthracite,
I am planning on putting the angel eyes on my car this weekend. Not sure if I am going to place them on the high beams or around the low beams. Yours look SWEEEET!
Question for you. How did you wire the angel eyes? Did you run them on a seperate switch or did you wire them into your parking lights. I would like to wire mine seperate into a switch I can place in the cabin. Can anyone advise me how to wire the angel hires with a seperate switch in the cabin?
I remember on my old T-Bird
(don't laugh) I wired a stereo system right into the fuse box spare slot for positive (+). Can I do the same on the Lexus fuse box?
Thanks
Biz

Lex Biz..they are wired to the parking light. So they will come on on the headlight switch. The sidmarkers are to the signals.
I wired the bottoms to work as fogs now..and not signals..like the 95s. Was fun to do.
Hope you have fun with yours too.

Actually it's not blinding to anybody. Both sides are very clean and not obtrusive. It's just the camera lighting makes them look overly saturated.
Thanks for the compliments though guys.
Toan Nguyen has my old clear sidemarkers..he should post those up too! =)

Beautifully done Anthracite! Very nice job!!!!!
You've done what I've been planning to do for awhile now. I even have the Angel Eyes sitting in my garage (been busy on other parts first).
What are you doing about resistors for the turn signal LEDs?? I have the amber LEDs up front and they're causing my signals to flash fast. When I put LEDs in the rear as well, the blinker just made a buzzing noise and didn't flash at all LOL! I've ordered some 6 watt resistors to wire in parallel, but I wondered what you did to fix it??
Thanks!
