Engine Dress Up ?

Engine Dress Up ?
Okay guys, I have a question for you. I've been trying to really clean up my engine bay and adding a little "bling" here and there. I've been considering replacing all my vacuum lines with blue that match my intake couplers. Do you guys think this would look good or to over the top?? I've tried to keep things as tasteful as possible.

I am after the same thing...I am theming my car white black and red. I went red filter with black couplers and red plug wires. I painted the timing belt cover black also.
Unfortunately no pic atm...cars in the shop

I say keep the factory vaccuum lines. Blue would look really busy and jump out too much from most of the examples I have seen unless there is alot of other blue in the engine bay.
It wouldn't hurt to try it out though, shouldn't take too long to switch them out if you don't like it.
How about a TRD oil cap?
Or maybe some carbon fiber pieces? I just changed my front top cam cover to a Titan full CF unit and that thing looks legit, much nicer than the factory cover.

Yeah, I just replaced front timing cover with a new one. I've been bead blasting brackets and repainting them semi gloss black. Almost all bolts are new. I just thought maybe I could lifen it up a little. Right now you could literally eat of of it.

No please don't use those flashy ricer lines. Just clan your stuff up go on ebay and get a front facing intake mani and a drift motion billet throttle body and bam sick *** engine bay!!! Lol. I'd also look at some of chase bays stuff real nice brake booster delete stuff like that make it real nice. Looks nice and clean now tho I like it.

i used to use the block coupler thing until i saw the light and went with black couplers .. braided lines also in black .. as mentioned go with a solid designed ffim and tt valve covers and you are on your way to a nicely done eng bay , btw even with my dizzy in place , everytime i goto a car show , people swear its a gte swap until i point out the dizzy sitting there so the ffim and tt valve covers is all it really takes

I'm all about stock personally. Only thing I would go for is some chrome here and there. Blue looks too cheap and 'ricey' as other people have mentioned..
97-SC300's engine bay is absolutely gorgeous in my mind.
