So I ended up never buying the SSRs and picked up these older Volks instead

Unfortunately the offset is +44 and there's minor curbing on each of the rims. And the tires are junk so I gotta replace them. But for under 500 I dont think there's much to complain about.

Beggers cant be choosy. . Thats what my mom used to say. I say you still got a deal. Its hard to find any rim or tire combo with zero problems and or curb rash here and there. Plus you cant go wrong with the basic five star pattern imo.

Just buy 20mm spacers if you wanna flush them.

Have u thought about powder coating them gloss black??? That shud help with the curb damage.

To be honest you should get some 18/19 inch wheels. I feel that wheel gap on any car looks bad. The SC doesn't really pull off meaty tires either.

So guys I tried putting them on today and the studs weren't long enough to put the wheels on.. would it be better to shave the inside of holes down or get longer studs?

u need aftermarket lug nuts, are u trying the stock ones?

longer studs..... never take anything off a wheel. but like ^he^ said get new lugnuts the oem's wont work.

I do have aftermarket lugs, my studs end though at the bottom of the hole to put the lugs into. Anybody have any suggestions besides these ARP studs (100-7715 )?
