DIY: Stabilizing The Cup In The Flip-Out Cup Holder
#34
And I was thinking of finding a junkyard car with a cup-holder to put in the blank hole on my 1992. Glad to know its a flimsy POS and would be a waste of time.
BTW, cupholder technology in the early 90's was about as advanced as computers were in the 1950's. Both my 1992 SC and 1998 Z28 Camaros with the manual trans had a cupholder right behind the gear shift. Put any sort of drink in there, it got in the way of your arm trying to shift. Mercedes Benz didn't even offer cupholders in their cars until about 1998-2000ish.

lol, I had fiberglassed a custom cup holder in my RX7 before the crash. Actually I do believe that no year RX7 came with one. I wouldnt mind a cup holder for my 92, like I said, it currently holds a pack of rillos or a single phili blunt. works out well for me but Id like to have better cup arrangements.
