If you have the time and like taking things apart, cleared 95-96 taillights look pretty clean.

true

I think the 95/6 are the best because the 97+ are too flashy and everything seems smushed together for my tastes. Also the 95/6 ones have a good combination after you clear them... a nice clean red on top and white on the bottom. Thats more my style. I've always liked the 92-94 style before I cleared mine.

I have a pearl white SC w/ the stock 92 tails. IMO, these r the only tails that should be on the SC.

Personally, I think the '97+ are DEFINITELY the best looking ones...

However, if you have a '92-'94 SC, you WILL get a lamp failure light (and I'm not sure about the '95-'96)...and getting the $250 tail light lamp failure module will NOT fix it...not a big deal, but the tail light failure light on your dash will always be lit up (unless you disconnect it or figure out how get the tail light failure sensor to work correctly)...

Also, your turn signals will blink at 2x the speed because the flash module must get a different signal from the rear turn signals (different wattage/amperage/resistance/whatever)...and upgrading to the '95-'01 flasher module is a no go because they're COMPLETELY different relays...('95-'01 have the same part # for the flasher module)...they're not pin compatible at all...

Todd at TM Engineering said there is a way to fix the lighting problems...I'm think it just needs a resistor or some type connected inline with the turn signal lamp and the tail light lamps but I'm not enough of a electronics expert to figure that one out...

Have you tried changing the Rear Tail Light Failure Module? It MIGHT get rid of the failure light on the dash (but it may not) To bad you're not in the area...we could just try the one I have...

I'm thinking on the '92-'94 (and possibly the '95-'96). The issue MIGHT be with the 2nd brake light on the wing (BTW, there are TWO different modules for the '97+ like any other year...one with and one w/o a spoiler).

I wonder if I changed my spoiler to the newer style one if that would make it work right...hmmm, I need to take my multi-meter to the dealership and check the resistance values...

Where is the taillight sensor Module located? My trunk was basicly tore up so I could install the taillights and the 97-00 lower side "wing" I didnt see anything. I dont plan on adding a spolier so I gotta figure out a way to get rid of that light on my dash.

The module is on the driver side...it's on the back side of a support bar/brace and it's facing the quarter panel...just follow the tail light wire...it looks like a little plastic box with some writing on it...

Default Custom

Why settle for factory?

Get custom ones that set off like no other....

I'd put anybody's factory 98 + next to my 95 conversions and we can see what is what.

Look at the 98 from DirectQL and look at these. And these are NOT that much more expensive than stock lights. that's a misconception.

hmm that sounds good..i used to have a 92 integra..where i cleared out one of the lenses...and it looked nice..but it was a really tough project.....

on a scale o\f 1-10, 10 being difficult, ,where would you rank these?

my integra was black..so it looked nice on it..not sure if half cleared lights would look good on the pearl white?

probably a 1.5 and if you've never used an oven or tools before then maybe a 1 lol

It was actually pretty easy to do. Most of the time you'll be waiting for the oven to warm up or holding the heat gun up to the lights. Its a pretty simple straight forward project and for the time you put into it the result is pretty nice.

Oh ya forgot to mention...ACleanSC4 already cleared them on a pearl SC and it looked pretty nice. I have the link if you wanna check out the pictures

good luck!
