NO KIDDING Jmai22,
Try searching. The side skirt, front bumper issue has been covered. Also tough to take pics of the pre-97 side skirts. They are tough to get a picture of them. In fact, I think it may be impossible. They don't exist.,

HI
Im very but very new to this thread and i would like to get some help, first my car is a sc300 which i bought with the 97+ upgrade already installed on the front. Now i would like to convert the rear but i would like to know if i need to purchase the rear cover or just the lights (im much interested in just installing the new 97+ lights)? And then if i install them what other bodies option can i use? Do Luck? Wald?
Thanks
Gaspar

Wald, if i remember correctly is also the same issue...buy and install...No 97+ conversion needed...although they have 2 different kits avaiable..pre 97 and 97+..choose one that best suits your taste..

Hi,
I'm new to the form (just bought an SC 2 days ago)
and I've already started working on it.
one of the first things is to replace the bumper cover.
I've been looking for a 97+ to do the conversion on my 93.
However since doing some digging and coming across the WALD kit, I found what I really wanted.
My question is this, the WALD i believe is a Fiberglass full bumper for the 92-96, correct?
How does this bumper stand up to that of a stock one? (plasticote)
and as a daily driven car what would you recommend a WALD fiberglass bumper? or a stock one?
Thanks for the help!!

I was also gonna go with a fiberglass kit, but then opted not to becasue my car is a daily driver, I woudl want to risk breaking the kit and keep having to spend money on gettin it fixed and repainted.

If you got with the 98 Taillights on a 95 will you have a taillight warning light all the time ? Did you just pull the bulb or are there other ways to correct this (resistors, etc).

Kinda expensive if you ask me...I would rather not get it and let the failure signal go on...But thats just me..

what is the difference between the 97+ tailolights and the 92 taillights? besides the color difference
do you have to change the front quarter panels, headlights, and the hood for the 97+ conversion?

thanks alot Din, you probally saved me alot of money and time.
Do you know if the taillights are the same and just differant colors or is the wiring diferent also?
the back bumper is a little bit longer on the 97+ compared to the 92-96, but are the side sills any different?

the taillights will plug right up but sicne the older taillights has one extra bulb your taillight failure light will come on. Side sills? are you talkin about side skirts?

everything from a 97-00 SC will fit the older model lexus, all you need are the right clips and bolt.
I forgot what the extra bulb is for. I drive around with the failure light one all the time now.
