Default lip

Yep, I need one for my '92 SC400. I'm most interested in one that looks as stock as possible. Painting it is not a problem, I just don't want one that looks aftermarket (or too far from stock). i's buy stock, but they're still $350 or so new. Incredible scam.

Go to parts.com, go to Lexus, then spartan motor mall. enter a search by part # for 7685124030 and youll find them there for about $318. I haven't found it cheaper anywhere else - everybody else is $350-400.

I was thinking about just using a factory 92-94 SC400 lip and having it custom fit and sprayed to match the car. i really do not want the snowplow look. I'm trying to fabricate a TTE Lip/L Tuned side skirts type look for the 1st Gen. I do not want you to be able to look at the car and say "Oh look at that kit", I want people to just wonder "why does that 7 yr old car look so sleek?!"

What do you guys think about the factory lip idea?

It looks sweet. A member has done this, if I understand your post you want to add a factory 92-94 lip on to the factory 97+ bumper, right. Do a seach there is a photo of a 97+ bumper with the 92-94 lip painted and matched and it looks niiiiiiiice. I say do it.
