Default How hard will this be?

I want to buy new updated seats for my SC since mine are beat up and found a set of tan rsx seats for a good price. The thing is i dont want to lose electric seats so is it possible to rip off both seats off their rails and switch bases?
So that i can have the rsx seats on the sc electric base? If so what would i have to do? Sorry dont know much about seats.
Thanks for any help.

Don't know about swapping the electrical though...the RSX is much newer, though, I'm sure it can be done.

the thread post above is what I used to install my RSX seats in my SC. only thing I did different was get a pair of universal seat sliders and welded them to the seat frame than to the factory mounting points that are taken off the oem seats. Worked our great. Reason for doing it this way was to lower the seats a little.

Just my 2 cents on the RSX seats, though it really looks updated and all that, the leather is really cheap and tacky. I bought like new condition RSX seats a little while ago, but sold it soon as I got it, cause I didn't like the leather. The fake leather on our door panels looks waaaay better actually.

cut and welded the brackets from sc seat to the psx seat brack, a little bit of a pain to put in but it was better than my stock sc seats.

the leather is pretty cheap, i sold that sc to my friend and his seats are looking a little rough compared the much older supra seats in my sc

Lmao I don't mind the cheap leather, beats my lame seat covers.
I've seen threads on how to install the seats, but nothing on switching bases to keep the electric feature.

I don't know about switching everything over and if it'll be a direct plug and play, but.....

RSX seats are junk.

there was a guy on here who bolted a racing seat on his electric seat bottoms, it moved forward and back, not bad if he cover the exposed motors

Get leather Evo 8/9 seats, easy to get sliders for them since that was a seat that Recaro sold anyways.

Already got the rsx seats. Wasnt really looking for clothe or sporty seats, just something that updated the old stock couches while being leather.
