It meets my expectations. The old setup(xr series) was nice too but this zr series makes a big difference. I still have a little tuning to do on the amps and once the trunk gets a little neater I'll have pictures of that too.
That's pretty sick man, any close up shots of the wood, any details on the thickness/dimensions? I removed my rear deck panel the other day and the damn thing pretty much fell apart on me. Was thinking of doing a custom job back there on it, and I got the wood to do so, just not sure how to approach it. What did you use for the top carpet?

No wood was used except for making the rings for the speakers. I just reinforced the deck panel with fiberglass. I put about 2 layers of resin on the carpet and it became pretty sturdy. I then positioned the rings and then stretched fleece over them and the panel. Spread resin over the fleece, let it harden then threw body filler over. After that its all sanding.... Hope this helps

Interesting...I've never worked with fiberglass before like that. I know a lot of people make custom enclosures with it, but figured it was too expensive, how much did the materials cost to make that?

Maybe a little over $100 for me cause my bro works at an autoparts store and he got a pretty good discount on the body filler and fiberglass.
