Help with window not going up
Ok I my 94 SC400 is back running and I should be able to pick it up from the shop in the next couple of days. When I took it to the shop I rolled the drivers side window down and when I went to roll it up I can hear the motor run but the window doesnt go up. Any ideas on what is going on?

Ah, it happened to me once, I had to take off the motor inside and there is a small plastic part that pulls the cable up, by a nudge on the wire..
This was broken, being of plastic and all, so I had to simply come up with an engineering solution to it ;-) , i.e. tie it up with a small screw so it will be solid enough to pull up the window lifting cable.. To my surprise, the fix worked and still works, 5 years later..
Did not have to buy a new window motor, assembly, or anything like that.
One trick though.. if you have tinted windows, make sure you pull out / put back the window carefully.. I ended up scratching my tint when I've put it back..

Hey, it looks like your switch only gives you contact one way (up) and not the other (down).
To test this, there should be three wires, and the switch connects 1 and 2 for up and 1 and 3 for down, for example. Make these connections manually to test this theory. If true, you need to change/fix the switch.
