Default 3000GT VR-4

Verve, funny you mentioned about the 3000GT VR-4. I owned a 94 model VR4 ... hot to trot but damned expensive to maintain. I always compare it to a hot assed girl ... great to look at but you'll go broke keeping her happy.

The VR-4 was alot of fun when it was working, but the damned thing broke down every other month. Repairs were a nightmare. Fugget about gas mileage. I was paying $36 per fillup twice a week.

But two years ago, I walked out of my apartment and the car was gone. Jacked and sacked!!! I only had liability insurance so I had to eat the loss.

I learned two things ... don't buy Mitsubishi and don't buy a car solely for it's looks. Unfortunately, I still date women for their looks ... gets my *** in trouble every time!!!

dude, im so sorry to hear that about your 3000. they are beautiful cars, but the maintenance was another reason i abandoned that dream. on the 3/Si forums i always saw people talking about having to replace their tranny's and what not.

Thanks lex400sc. I have been thinking why people have twin turbocharged the SC 300 and not the SC 400. I saw a picture from Swift Racing's website and I see that there just wouldn't be room. Thanks for replying.

I think you will find the car you want. Just look around. I am selling my Black 1993 Lexus SC400 with 106K miles. It has had all of the service performed and has a few mods. I have a buy it now price of $12K but will take $10K. The auction starts tomorrow. It would make a great new years present

I can't buy yet I'm only 15 years old. Maybe I will look in New York for my SC 400 when I'm ready for it though.

dont give up on ebay. i found my sc400 there from florida, had it checked out by a motorsports place there and when it finally arrived i was amazed at the condition it was in. i saved $6,000+ off the blue book retail price (of course shipping ate up $750 of those savings) but still a great deal
