I wish I could see your photos. theyre gone. I have the same problem but I don't lke messing with things unless I have a guide like photos to lead me. I guess ill just leave them cracked unless someone else posts pictures.

I just picked one up at my local Pick n Pull. You just gotta call the scrappers that are close to you on a regular basis until one of them gets an SC..

Thanks to the previous owner (little old lady from Pasadena), mine has no cracks yet.

Use the a/c icon that shows air blowing only on your feet.
No air will pass thru the center register (hence no cracks will develop)

Side registers can blow on your face at all settings and will cool you down enough without center registers.

Mine has no cracks but one of the pins that allow the fins to rotate is messed up so if i could take it out to fix it i will. Will be waiting for the pictures since i wont be doing this until winter because i dont want my face melting off in the florida sun...

Were the pics for this write up ever found? Could use them about now. Got the glove box out but I don't see 3 screws to remove the airbag ,I removed 3 12mm bolts

Any help would be greatly appreciated
