Question 95 keyless

Okay so I got my sc300 with just a key. No buttons or remotes. Can I buy a remote and key combo like the later SC's have? Or some kind of remote for keyless.

The easiest may be aftermarket.

Yes, a programmable aftermarket fob, if the other elements in the car work. If not, an aftermarket keyless entry system. They are cheap if you need one of those. The fobs are programmable and even cheaper.

Order a remote key cut from your VIN HERE (ask about the club Lexus discount). Program it for your car or take it to the dealer and let them do it.

Good Luck!

EDIT: Maybe an expert will chime in but I would just get a programmable (cheap) fob. Our 95's only can support unlock, lock and arm alarm. That is a cheaper way to know if the receiver etc. is working.
Perhaps it is mis programmed, but my fob locks, unlocks and auto starts car but will NOT arm factory alarm. My Lexus remote key locks, unlocks and arm/disarms the factory alarm. I use both.
Your fob may not arm the alarm.

Not sure if 93 are similar to 95 but for mine I decided to go with the OE alarm system. My car came with only valet key so I went to my local Lexus dealership and ordered key with button and cut to my VIN, and transponder chip.
