I found this statement online its regarding Canadian cars but figured the numbers would be similar for U.S.A regarding the number of cars still on the road.. Among passenger cars, Lexus led the list with a 61.60 per cent survival rate, followed by Mercedes-Benz at 44.30 per cent,
Using that rate and the chart above here would be the numbers of surviving SC300s with Manual for each year
1992 - 986
1993 - 561
1994 - 140
1995 - 488
1996 - 143
1997 - 74
For a total of 2,392. Based on those numbers I would imagine 20 years from now the 97 "factory" 5spd would be extremely rare. Though with these cars being 5spd sports cars I would imagine the loss ratio numbers to be even higher but still it looks like "factory" 5 spds could be worth $$$ when im an old old man.
