It's sad o hear about wrecked SCs. Although there are probably hundreds (tens?) of thousands left in the world, it's a limited number and every one that goes to the junkyard is one less. At least you lived to build up another one!

 

I doubt there's 100s of thousands of sc's... werent there were like 100k produced the entire run

 

Full run united states 1992-2000 would be 49,000 SC400, and 28,000 SC300s. These are VERY rare cars, and I'd estimate that, like gold, most of these are still in circulation because of the rarity and desirability.

I could be wrong though. Maybe 60% survive?
