i ran one on my 240. did you reinforce the bottom of your lip? If you didn't it just folds in at highway speeds, making it functionally useless. depends on what you are going for though

i put some aluminum strip along the bottom and bent it slightly for the bumper curve, it holds it nice and steady at all times. also i used double sided 3M tape to not have screw marks. all this makes it a 30$ lip but still cheap and easily replaceable.

i also used wall base cove molding instead of the garden edging (though you have to buy a 25 ft roll of that, so best to find a friend to do it with you!), as it doesn't have that bubble along the bottom. Just throwing some more options for anyone contemplating on doing the same.

cheers
Marko

Plain and Simple .

There is nothing wrong with 240s, there is nothing wrong with mk3s either.

Op looks great.

my 92 is still rocking the factory lip although it is broke in 5 places and the 18 layers of paint are flaking off. I will be copying this as well. I will be adding lights to it though (seen a RX7 with it done and it was very tasteful)

Word. It only has one of the most active forums I've ever seen (hundreds viewing just the 'for sale' section at all times).....
Don't know when being compared to another car in terms of popularity became bad, there are (what's considered) badly modded cars of many makes and models.

Wasn't hating on the HD lip, OP.

Esto, my zenki was the same color as yours...I miss it

Nice! I wasn't sure if you thought I was asking a legit question or trying to mock you. I was really asking a legit question because I seen the HD lip and on the highway or at certain speeds it would fold up or flap around that's why I went with the cut and extended OEM SC400 lip.

if you reinforce the bottom it stays stiff, if you don't it will bend in at speed. just push lightly on it with your finger, if you can push it in the wind will do the same.
