I've always liked the black color this is actually my first white car, I had ab 3 other black cars not to be racist or anything lol.

 

Did you own a Supra and an SC at the same time?

Are you in the same boat again now? Or is the Supra gone?

 

Got my first for 2800 with 160k and my second for $1000 but it had a rack of mile so I use it as a parts car.

 

Oh sorry I was just showing a random pic of the sc 97 black color. Those cars aren't mine. But if I do get a paint job on the 97 it will most likely be black, and after few more years I plan on getting a black supra as well. so pretty much will be like that.

Congrats 97+ 5spd is pretty rare but unless your going NA-T I would of just looked around for a 97+SC4 instead.

It looks good! Congratulations BigBang. My 93 5-speed is black and I understand where you're coming from. I had a white car a while back though and may again. I like the white color hue Lexus used on these cars.

You've got plenty of time to sort out the rest of the car before going NA-T. A 1JZ swap isn't a bad idea either unless you're set on a serious power build goal from the start. My guess is that you may be.
