based on that, maybe 1200-1700 if it was clean title registered and smogged

Wrong. I wouldnt say that low. Maybe its worth that too you. If the right buyer comes around he can get doubled that.

Op got any pics? Those are some common problems that can easily be fixed.

If it's auto, I'd pay no more than 2k, but that's just me. 160k isn't too bad for an SC300 as they go to 300k.

I wouldn't spend more than 15-1800 on it personally

blue book isn't much. what we feel they are worth and what they sell for are 2 different things. can I get 10k for mine... no.. do I feel it's worth that, yup! if it was 5 speed smogged and in great running condition no issues other than normal then maybe a lil more. but we don't have the full pic. is it a 93 with a ls1 6 speed swap... you catch my drift. these cars appeal to a small audience.

To be honest a decent SC is usually around 3k now, but if you have severe problems then it would be around 2k. These cars having problems is pretty common, its sad to see them go down like this bit what do you expect for 20 year old cars?

I recently bought a 93 SC400 with 70,000 miles on it. It was totally stock and damn near perfect. I paid $5,500 and the KBB was around $8.000. It was a Nevada car so ZERO rust.

Your car on Edmunds is valued at $2799....KBB is $8000....that's a $5000 difference!

KBB is usually inflated for Dealers and Used Car lots. Everyone uses KBB to sell a car, and everyone uses Edmunds when it comes to buying a car. I find Edmunds to be a much more accurate when buying a used car due to the fact even when you get it "thoroughly checked out" problems can and usually do pop up. Also Edmunds values are based on DMV buy/sell records. KBB is not.
