Default Window Help

Hey guys! I got a 93 sc400 and the passenger side window had no motor or railing when I bought it. Also it did not have the passenger side power window control. I bought the railing and new motor and installed it all correctly and easily. However when I try to use it with the driver side switch I get nothing. So I'm curious, do I need the passenger side control as well for this to work? Maybe it needs it plugged in to complete the circuit? Any helpful input is much appreciated! Thank you!

That would be expected that the drivers side won't operate the window. Most likely a contact issue, might wanna clean it all out. Regardless, you need to get a PW switch on the passenger side anyway, so go ahead and do that and see what happens. I don't think it would be needed to complete the circuit though.

If that doesn't work, look for damage in the wiring to and from the harness/window regulator.

Very interesting. I guess you must suspect everything in this case.
