Time for change.......
Well I thought about selling my SC a few months ago and posted it up. After several thoughts and reviewing all of my receipts, I said, "Heck NO!!! """ "Am I Crazy ???? "
To keep me motivated to continue be impressed with my car, I decided to make a few changes to it. I started searching around and looking at other peoples setup, and come up with a new look under my hood. Not a major change, but just something different to "POP" out to anyone who looks under the hood. I think the change turned out well. I also fixed my exhaust leak on the manifold while I was at it.
I had my buddy paint both covers again to the color black. While I had the car apart, I wet sanded all of my aluminum pieces the best I could, and repolish them again. I added a new chrome turbo heat shied. I got it from Ebay for 35 shipped. I painted all the AN fittings and oil feed, from the nasty blue and red, to semi black. Next up, was the turbo housing. I did it with VHT high temp and about four coats of clear. The house still smells like paint, due to me baking it as recommended by the can. I replaced the turbo gasket with a new one, and finally no leaks. Then I cleaned and polished all the metal that I could squeeze my hands in. I replaced all the zip ties to black ones. I had some white and some black. I went ahead and replaced all the rubber caps with new ones. Lastly, I painted the FPR bracket to black.

I get bored with things too, but to keep me from fiddling where things need not be fiddle with I buy a SECOND car to build instead of selling and replacing the first. That way I can always enjoy the other one. It is about the process to getting to your goals. Once you're there, it's over. No amount of fiddling will get you back interested in the car, it's BUILT. It's DONE. That doesn't mean you have to sell it though. I recommend a nice BMW 3 series, some AC Schnitzer stuff, and a big-***-turbo.

Thanks guys. I just drove it to the store and back. Well I got on it, and I started smelling coolant. I was like crap. I pulled into the garage and popped the hood. The upper nipple on the radiator cap is officially broken. I am on the hunt for a new aluminum radiator. I was looking at this one..
Well it is part of the build....
