Just dipped my SC300
So it's been a while since I have posted, so I thought that I would share with CL the work I've done.
I'm waiting for a really nice day to take some good photos (not with my phone), but here it is after Plasti-Dipping it last week.

It seems to be a lot more rugged than I originally thought it would be. If it lasts for a year or two I'll be happy, and I may decide at that point to do it again...who knows!

This! I can understand if the paint was beat to **** or faded.. But that was actually a nice paint job on the car before. I know it's plasti-dip and is supposed to peel off but that alone is going to be so labor intensive.
OP hope you plan on keeping the car, you just killed the resale on it.

I understand why you would think that, but the guy that owned it before me did a horrible job trying to paint over the damage he caused from hitting a deer... The rear of the car was a different shade than the front.
I don't plan to sell it anytime in the near future. And yeah the paint was pretty bad...not only was it different shades of Golden Pearl, the new paint was peeling from both front fenders at the hood as well as the doors just below the window trim.
This was kind of a temporary fix for now, but it looks a heck of a lot better than I had thought it would

I spent just under $200 on the paint (3 gallons and a rattle can) and my best friend let me borrow his home spray gun. Between masking everything, painting, and clean up it took about 5-6 hours.
