Sad day today. Have to say goodbye to my poor baby. ******* on the freeway decided to slam on the brakes for what he thought was a "close call" in front of him. He had a ton of room ahead of him but overreacted. I was coming onto the 101 North in the Bay Area and just got onto the freeway when I turned my head to change lanes and by the time I turned my head back it was too late.

I will most likely be parting the car out. The interior is pretty damn clean (ignore the rubbish in the pictures cus of the accident). I will post another thread later once I figure out all the insurance stuff. Stay tuned for a part out folks.

Kpierce007 - Thanks, I'm ok. Just a busted lip from airbag, that's all..! It was clean indeed, was a steal of a deal when I bought it.

O . L . T - She was actually very sympathetic. Her and her mom in the car. They actually slammed on the brakes because someone in front of them slammed. She just felt bad for me and kept apologizing that she had to slam that hard. From what I could tell, not the suing type. Her car wasn't that damaged either, probably new bumper and hutch bar on the bottom needs replacing.

SC400slide - Thanks! She had a Ford shift. That thing was pretty damn strong haha. Yes, the SC definitely took care of me!

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I am ok, ambulance didn't even respond. Thankfully both parties were ok. I just got a busted lip from the airbag.

I'll be looking into getting a used GS until about January/February when I will go after a 2013 GS350..! I've had my eyes on that for a while now. I'll be with the Lexus family for a long time. Plus, I still have the NA-T to have fun with for now!

2o7SC3 - The airbag deployed and shot the windshield..! The tow truck guy said he sees that happen all the time. I first thought my laptop flew into the window (which was on the passenger seat), but definitely wasn't the case.

k7q - Pictures don't do justice, the car is gone. No point in trying to fix. I've been rear ended in this car before and it was a hassle to get it back to normal. I'm just going to let it go. The time has come....9 years of accident free since the day I got my license so I was due for something.
