No Hi-Beams
I purchased my 92' SC400 about a year ago and to this day I still cannot get the high beams to work. Ive checked the bulbs the relay clicks, and all the fuses seem to be good. Am I clearly missing something? Also when the headlights are off and I pull the stalk it turns on the low beams so I am assuming its somewhere in the wiring? Please help me out, it would be nice to warn others about oncoming cops and such

what do the connectors look like attached to the low beams and the high beams (more important), and is there even a connector on the high beam bulb? high res picture would help.
likely someone rewired something very wrong or there is a short.
I know people do rewiring to change the cornering lamps into fog lamps, but I don't see how that would result in that unless it went very wrong and someone just left it.
I would start by following back the wire that goes to the low beam, and see if there is some splice that comes from the high beam connector.

i had the same issue on my soarer and inside the drivers side fender lining one of the wires was chewed through from being too low so i patched it and moved the wiring.

what he said. Had the same issue, but with low beams. Wires were chewed up from the tire rubbing the harness. Check under driver side fender.

I will definitely look at the wiring this afternoon, but this car was stock as you could possibly get, owned by some old lady here in florida for a long time lol. I will post the connector pictures as soon as I can get to my car.
