Question 16" GS Wheels on SC

Hi
I've been thinking about switching my chrome 16" SC wheels for
chrome 16" GS Wheels from the 98-2000 year.

Does anyone have any pictures of the GS wheels on their cars.
These are the 5 spoke ones.

My wheels on a 99 SC400 are starting to blister and peel.

Any opinions are welcome also.

Thanks
3dog

This will be hard to find, considering they are 16" rims. Probably need to photoshop the wheels.
I would also stay away from chrome rims it's outdated IMO. I like the 06' 430 rims/look on the sc a picture with the car the last post in the link.

thanks, if i had a 50 or 45 profile i could slam the car on the 16's but the 225/55's are huge and hit my frame rail or fender rail whatever you wanna call it all the time caused me to get stuck quite a few times.

Wow thanks for the pictures.
I like how those look!
I've got 225/55/16's on the car now and have not had any problems. I've got the stock SC wheels. I don't understand why your wheels would make a difference.
Have you lowered your car?

Wow, for 16s those look surprisingly good on our cars. They look like they belong rather than screaming "Hey, look at my wheels" like so many others do. This is coming from someone with 01 LS430 17s on their SC

how on earth do you drive a car that low? I've never understood why people do this... Both my sc's are lowered, but not slammed, because cars are meant to be driven, and I like to beat on my cars and not worry.

yeah im on ksport coilovers tire circumfrence is much bigger with a 225/55/16 vs a 215/35/18 so the tire hits the top frame rail and when i cangle up stuff all the weight of the car stops the front wheel from spinning causing me to get stuck with the big stock tires

i drive perfectly fine like this, subframe doesnt smash n anything, i do scrape going over speedbumps but thats pretty much it, im used to drive very low. at the height above I am able to cruise 100 no problem on the vegas highways. That pic above is after i raised it up from throwing the stock wheels on.

now these videos are with 215/35/18's and coils spun down.
