Default Steering Wheel-Craft Customs (New Leather)

Just got my 2000 SC steering wheel back from Craft Customs. Had them add 1/16" pad to it to make it thicker. Wheel turned out perfect and is a perfect match to airbag. Price was $319.00.

To anyone with an older car that wants to update wheel and have it redone I'd highly recommend them.

Same here. I'd like my wheel to be thicker. I wonder if they have the patent leather style so it has that from the factory shine.

Yes, that's what i want too, but with some contour, like the sportier wheels have.

How much was the padding added to the cost? I got a reasonable cost quote on the other shop, but he wants extra $50 for the padding which puts the cost above yours

Stock,

Original cost was $250.00 to redo wheel and $50.00 for the extra padding. Shipping was $20.00.

As far as the sheen on the leather goes once the wheel gets a little oiled up from hands it will get a little more shiny sheen to it.

wheel looks outstanding , ive dealt with craft for years however be very careful not to use hand sanitizer and degreaser without throughtly washing your hands before driving or the leather will peel away ,, it happened to me on my last wheel done from them 3 years ago
