i hear if you had power going to the ac controls and unplug the unit, it will blow a fuse, I took mine out and fixed my screen to, I have to admit, what a pain to line up those pins
i did my own LEDs and it came out perfect

Yup got it figured out thanks a bunch sc400slide! and yes that makes a lot if sense! Cuz I just pulled it out when it was still on! Lol
