Ive seen it before. forgot all about it until now. pretty cool. i'd do anything to get rid of the hinges in our car.. or modify the doors too they're pretty heavy.
Pretty cool first thing I thought of how much it would suck for that door to malfunction and go up on me while I was getting out talk about busting your *****. I'm sure it probably has sensors like a garage door opener or something to prevent moving with objects in the way.
Pretty cool but I think the flaws outweigh the benefits: during rain/snow it would suck, cant get in and slam the door real quick as in regular doors; must be very heavy; and would be an electrical nightmare if things start to go bad, also, with a dead battery, how do u open the door? Or, what if the window regulator goes bad? lol
yea pretty cool concept but I think it's ugly rolled down. Kinda want to see it going into production to see how many ppl would go for it. On the other hand, I think it would weaken the whole chasis. Also, think about how much it would cost to replace the door in a case of an accident. Don't think it's practical
