SC400 Changer in Dash??
Hey guys,
I have a 1992 Sc400 and an older Clarion Auto PC. I want to install the double din screen in the center and relocate the cd unit to the glovebox. I was also wondering if a cd changer could fit in the glovebox. Has anyone looked behind those areas to see what is behind there besides a firewall? Is there enough room. I was also wondering if anyone has fit a din sized face in the area where the cigar lighter and ash tray is. Ideas please? Money aint a thing.....

I would install the headunit in the ashtray area, then a 7" screen in the factory location. The AutoPC stereo is super fun to program. We installed the 'sexy voice' into it the other day and could not stop laughing.

Hey Pcmw,
Thanks for the info, do you know of anyone who has re-wired the autopc from the face to the back cd unit? You really think the face will fit there with some modifying?? Oh and give me the skinny on your autopc (software, features, likes, dislikes). I have all of the cd's for it but have not installed it in a vehicle yet. I have all the nav disks if you want too. Thanx.
