Default Replacing the rear stereo covers

I just go a '95 sc400 and the rear stereo covers are a little dirty and stained and also the fabric that goes directly behind the rear seats that is around the speakers is stained and worn so I would like to replace that as well. Any ideas on where to buy new speaker covers from or how to replace the fabric? Thanks.

Walmart, like 3 bucks a yard. You will have to remove the rear seat portion first before you can access them. Dont go pulling on them, or you will break them. Use 3M spray glue over the stock fabric or pull it off, up to you. GL.

He's not lying when he says they will break if you try to pull them off. I pulled the sub cover when I had to mess with the wiring for my deck install and the sub cover broke in MULTIPLE places. I had to use duct tape to sort of give shape again but now I need a replacement. I haven't got around to searching for what others have done for a replacement as of yet.

Yea mine broke in multiple pieces on my old car when I first pulled it out. If that happens....dont worry. You can always get some MDF wood and cut a custom rear deck, keep the speaker grills, and grab cheap fabric from Walmart or your local Michaels or arts/craft store equivalent.

I haven't tried it personally but I've seen a thread on here where they took the original fabric off and flipped it over. I was amazed at how much more gray the OEM fabric looked when not faded. He did mention he used a set that wasn't as faded. But it's definitely worth checking yours out before you junk the original fabric. The guy was going for an OEM look as much as possible. Here a link to the thread where he did this among many other things.
